While oil refiners will initially lead the market through HEFA (Hydroprocessed Esters and Fatty Acids), it is anticipated that technology companies and startups based on new technologies such as ATJ (Alcohol-to-Jet) and PtL (Power-to-Liquid) will gradually emerge due to feedstock constraints. Let us examine the process through which the existing petroleum-centered structure is shifting toward a competitive system of diversified feedstocks, leading to the formation of a new aviation fuel ecosystem with multifaceted production and distribution methods.
